Hello, I’m Mora!

Drawing on 25+ years of experience as a parent, educator, counsellor, and community builder, Mora is deeply committed to helping children and their families work through their challenges by emphasizing their strengths and resilience in a supportive, safe environment that promotes growth and healing. Mora's areas of therapeutic interest are loss/grief, transition, anxiety, conflict/mediation, attachment, and behavioural problems at school and home. Although much of Mora’s expertise centres around children, she is also experienced and comfortable in working with teens and adults. Mora uses play-based approaches in addressing therapeutic concerns, as well as cognitive- behavioural and solution-focused therapy.   Counselling is conducted through individual, family, or group sessions.  Mora is one half of a therapy dog team certified by Therapy Tailblazers with her Aussiedoodle, Tessa.
